About Dan Coleman

Hello and welcome! My name is Dr. Dan Coleman. I combine therapy and as needed medication management, so that you have a single person working alongside you as you create the space for change and growth in your life. I designed my practice to provide an intentionally personal, personable and personalized treatment approach. I strive to provide a genuine, safe, confidential and caring environment, and it is my sincere goal to be a source of healing in your life. We all experience pain. Sometimes though, the suffering that accompanies this pain overwhelms our coping abilities. You may feel stuck, cycling through frustration, anxiety, depression, loneliness or even hopelessness. Therapy can be an effective and healing way out of these suffering experiences. By your feeling truly heard, seen and known, we can build a caring and trusting therapeutic relationship. This connection we make will be the lens we use to understand the cycles causing your suffering, and the key with which we open doors to new paths forward. As a Harvard-trained psychiatrist, I can also provide, when indicated, evidence-based medication treatment to bolster our therapy work. I have extensive experience working with persons dealing with a wide variety of concerns, symptoms and diagnoses, and a strong record of success in stabilizing or improving the lives of those with whom I have worked. Reaching out to begin therapy takes courage, but with your outreach, we can connect and begin to build a way out and forward together. I'm a very down to earth, understanding and caring person. I try to make genuine, real and powerful connections with each person in my intentionally small patient panel. I hope you'll reach out so we can work together to find exactly the freedom you deserve, have been needing, and are ready to find.
