About Jay Bach

(Currently not accepting new clients) Welcome, I’m Jay Bach. BACKGROUND: I began my work in mental health and addiction ten years ago and have worked in a variety of settings and with a greater variety of people. I earned my Masters of Social Work from VCU in 2016 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2019. MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT Do you struggle to know who you are? Are anxiety and addiction making you a stranger to your own mind? Is your life moving on without you? Is stress overtaking your personal bandwidth? Our individual experiences shape our past, present, and future worldviews. This uniqueness is empowering but also sometimes isolating. Together we can help you rediscover who you are and how to love yourself! HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER From early on in my practice, I became aware of the impact of differences in perception and became interested in how our perspectives go on to shape our thoughts, choices, actions, and ultimately determine our successes and our failures. This insight pushed me to become a therapist. I use a focus of evidenced based interventions to help you develop insight into the emotional environment in which you live your life and determine what exactly is holding you back from moving forward. This approach allows you to identify specific changes in thinking and ultimately transcend depression, anxiety and stress to live an abundant life of joy and growth. CLIENTS SERVED I serve adolescents, adults, and couples who are struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. My door is open to all regardless of sexual orientation, religion, or ethnicity. I am currently licensed to serve clients in Virginia and Idaho. I want to help you experience your own regenesis today. FINANCIAL NUTS AND BOLTS In Virginia I accept Anthem, Aetnea, Optum, Oxford, and United Health Insurance In Idaho I am only able to accept Aetnea, Optum, Oxford, and United Health Insurance. CLIENT PORTAL All active clients will have access to a HIPAA compliant portal. This will serve as the channel of communication between us for all things therapy related. Session fees will also be paid through the secure client portal.
