About Erin Jones

Erin has been in the health care field her entire adult life. After being involved in the foster care/adoption process since 2004, and working with disabled children for a decade, she eventually pursued her dream of helping others struggling with the traumatic curveballs thrown in life through numerous certifications in disability-specific and trauma care. She has helped parents navigate the foster and adoptive system for nearly a decade before working primarily with women's issues, disability issues and parenting, spirituality/faith crises, and chronic health conditions. Among numerous certifications related to trauma and disabilities, Erin is working on several new certifications to provide a more holistic approach. Erin obtained her M.A. at Liberty University for Licensed Professional Counseling and will complete a second master's degree (M.Ed.) in special education in March 2022. She is also completing a doctorate in psychology (Psy.D.) and a doctor of education (Ed.D.) degree. Erin holds numerous certifications in trauma, play and art modalities, and integrative nutrition. Erin hopes to complete her training requirements for recognition as a registered play therapist (2023), registered functional nutrition practitioner, and recognized trauma-focused yoga instructor (2022).
