About Michael Hooten

I have worked in nature-based, therapeutic settings in a variety of leadership positions from direct client care to program design and management. Now, In my second career, I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and mental health counselor in Colorado. I’m also a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through iPEC, credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. My strengths-based, client-centered approach to counseling includes getting out of the box with professional skill sets in human-animal relationships, neurophysiological regulation, breath body mind integration and nature therapy. These are potent, evidence-based models. I use a holistic, integrative lens to empower the individual with resilience, build on strengths, plant healthy seeds of change and “think in the gray” instead of relying on narrow, rigid solutions. If you would like to begin a journey inward, let's design a forward-flowing path that fits you!
