I utilize a variety of approaches, including but not limited to, person-centered, EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and The Gottman Method to meet the needs of my clients. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) in Indiana.
I work with both individuals and couples and offer in-office and teletherapy appointments. I specialize in adjustment/life transitions, relationship/marital concerns, perfectionism, social anxiety, adult children of alcoholics, family of origin issues, shame, trauma, codependency, substance addictions, and chronic pain/illness/health related stressors.
I promote self-discovery, which includes not only identifying problematic patterns and obstacles, but also exploring strengths and evidence of resiliency. In addition to my professional training, my own personal experiences have equipped me with compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others feel empowered as they pursue the life they desire. Other training/area of expertise are Highly Sensitive Persons (HSP), and Victims of Narcissistic Abuse , Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, WIEBGE (Will I Ever Be Good Enough) Level 1 Certification, Institute for Integrative Nutrition graduate.
