About Kailey Hockridge

I move through my life and my work with honesty, compassion, and humor. I practice from a feminist, strength-based lens, with curiosity and collaboration at the heart of my approach to therapy. I believe the ways we move through the world are reflective of how we've learned to survive and do the best we can. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can reflect on your unique perspective and history to find healing. Together we'll identify opportunities for growth or change that feel good to you, and I'll follow your lead in adapting our work to meet you where you are. This may mean listening to what your body has to share with you or finding new ways to challenge negative thinking and self-criticism. We do not exist in a vacuum; our familial, cultural, and societal influences play important roles in how we come to understand ourselves and the world around us. I feel that identifying and exploring these constructs is essential to developing a fuller understanding of ourselves and the path that's ahead of us. My work is rooted in principles of multiculturalism and social justice, which means I strive to center and be responsive to my clients’ identities within the context of their unique lived experience. I am also committed to questioning and challenging systems of white supremacy, as well as my own anti-racist work. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and honors all bodies and identities.
