About Deborah Smith-Blackmer

I believe that people of all kinds can get stuck in confusing and painful situations or patterns. In my practice, psychotherapy offers a respectful, safe oasis in which to set realistic goals for growth and change, and healing, with the understanding that each of us is the authority on our own lives.

This includes therapy with individuals, couples and families who may be in acute or chronic psychological pain or are trying to cope with challenging changes or transitions. It also includes those who simply wish to improve their relationships.

I  provide therapy supervision and consultation as well. I enjoy, deeply, the opportunity to facilitate growth.
