Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked with a diverse population of individuals, couples and families over the past 17 years – including those in creative fields. I do think that most of the time, a good connection between a therapist and client results in good therapy. It is important that my clients and I create a relationship of safety so compassion, reflection, understanding and growth can occur in our work together. While an avid listener, I am also interactive.
Having worked with individuals and relief organizations in the Entertainment Industry for the past 12 years, I am familiar with the rigors of the industry and the unique challenges you face on and off the road; financial, relationships, substance use and job security, to name a few. I believe that mental health is a topic that needs to be normalized in the industry and I look forward providing support and continuing the conversation.
