About Wendy Carter

I graduated from Newman University School of Social Work in 2009. I use a variety of approaches to collaboratively work with individuals and couples who are seeking tools to empower and change their lives. My specialty includes complications around grief and loss, especially surrounding disabilities, co-occurring disorders, and people who feel disempowered by their disorders. I have experience working with people who have lost friends or family to suicide. I am currently studying to become a certified addictions counselor.
