About Mary McMillan

Thank you for reading my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have experience working with adults, children, couples and families.  I absolutely love what I do!  Helping people make positive changes in their lives is the best job I could ask for.

I use an integrative approach, combining cognitive behavioral and short-term solution focused therapy.  Other therapeutic modalities  based on assessment and presenting need of the individual.

My clients come with a wide range of psychological and interpersonal problems.  This includes depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, self-esteem, parenting concerns, and problems related to aging and loss.

I help people build on their strengths to create a joy-filled and purpose-full life.  I believe the power for change resides in each individual and that therapy can promote and facilitate desired changes through a collaborative therapeutic relationship.  Providing you with a renewed sense of purpose.

I have been successful engaging adolescents in therapy, addressing such issues as depression and anger. I have also worked with children with developmental disabilities.  I can also provide services in the home or at school and attend IEP meetings.

Call me to facilitate the process of your personal growth.
