Community Legal sevices and Counseling Center (CLSACC) in Cambridge, MA serves low income, uninsured, and underinsured people who have difficult gaining access to counseling and psychotherapy in other settings and who earn under $36,000/year. The center has been in existence for over 40 years.
The center has a core paid staff of clinicians and has a large group of trained clinician volunteers who donate time to the center. In this way our fees for people with low incomes are affordable ranging from $5 - $55/visit. Fees are negoatiated based on ability to pay.
We assist clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, social isolation, work difficulties, family and relationship difficulties, trauma assocaited with violence, or who have other concerns. Our services are professional and confidential. Clients of the center are seen weekly for as long as necessary.
We do not accept insurance as payment for psychotherapy.
