About Gabrielle Seekely

Gabrielle Seekely is a psychotherapist specializing in neurological differences, trauma and learning for more than 2 decades.  She provides counseling and psycho-educational consulting for children, adolescents, adults and families. Gabrielle is trilingual and provides services in English, Spanish and French in her private practice, Thursday's Child Consulting and at Seek East an interprofessional alliance.

Gabrielle received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas in Austin and a Cértificat Supèrieur from The University of Paris in Paris, France.  She received a Master's degree from The University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas specializing in Counseling, Assessment and Special/Bilingual Education. Gabrielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Certified Animal Assisted Therapist, Certified coach, Certified School Counselor and Educational Diagnostician, and a trained Mediator.

Gabrielle has worked as a mental health provider and educational diagnostician in hospitals and in therapeutic, private and public schools, as a career coach to international trailing spouses, and as a consultant in several schools and organizations in the Houston area.  Among her areas of expertise are: Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Assessment, Learning Differences, Attachment, EMDR, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Chronic Medical Conditions, Mood Disorders, Professional Training and Clinical Supervision.
