About Pauline Amaismeier
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse. I provide general counseling services to adults with a speciality in mental health trauma, which includes emotional, physical and sexual abuse, exposures to natural or man made disasters or war, medical traumas, and recent traumatic incidents. I use an eclectic therapy approach which means that I choose the bets therapy needed by the client at this tims. It is important for me to educate and empower clients so that they start to feel more in control over their lives. I give homework so if you make an appointment with me expect it. This way you are working on issues during the days when you are not seeing me.
