About Tangley Lloyd

At some point in our life, most of us hit a bump in the road.  It has been my experience that with the right tools and a supportive system, the client can do extremely well in therapy.  My goal is not to have the client in therapy for years to come, but rather to enable them to get over the hurdle they face and live the most productive life that they can.

My training is in Family Systems and I have been an ongoing participant at the Family Institute of Westchester.  Most of the work I do is with either individuals or families but it all ties together like a jigsaw puzzle in the end. We are all a product of what we have known in our lives and sometimes we can correct sadness or a relationship that has gone awry by looking at our family history.

Much of my expertise has been gleaned from working as a volunteer with the American Red Cross.  I have been all over the United States, helping as a mental health professional.  Our goal as an organization is always to restore the client as best as possible to their life before the disaster. This is a noble goal and one that I still maintain.
