About Charlene (Charlie) Hoar

As a  Give An Hour volunteer, and a Marine wife, I hope I can offer service members and/or their family members,  support, understanding,   a safe and confidential place to talk and explore options,  and practical help as you make efforts to feel better and solve problems.  I have had personal experience as a wife and mother through husband's prolonged absences during combat operations, the adjustments needed when coming back, multiple moves, school changes, job losses and restarts.

If it is easier  to have a phone or Skype visit, we can do that too. Please know this is available to extended family members, too, parents who may be at a distance from you as the service member.  It is also available to sisters and brothers, significant others, people who are your extended family who are not beneficiaries of military health services.
