About Laura Farha

Wayfinder: Online Therapy for Expats, Immigrants, and Third Culture Grownups Psychotherapy for me is a journey undertaken by two people; one a compassionate guide well-versed in the theory and practice of relational, attachment-focused, psychodynamic psychotherapy; the other a brave and willing seeker with a longing and motivation to gain clarity, to feel better, to heal what might feel broken. I bring my professional, academic and personal experience; you bring your stories, courage, and self-expertise. Together we voyage toward a deeper and more coherent understanding of why, who and where you are and the journey itself becomes the repair. I specialize in providing online, video-based therapy to individuals who may not be living in their home country, whether due to choice, need, or a combination of factors. Thanks to modern technology, location is no longer an impediment to effective psychotherapy. I am experienced at developing a strong therapeutic bond with clients, wherein consistency and trust create opportunities for personal investigation, growth and transformation. Unresolved issues around home, family, identity and belonging, relationships, and trauma often lead to depression, anxiety, and a general dissatisfaction with one’s personal or professional life. If you identify with any of these feelings or challenges, I may be able to help.
