About Zrinka Ivkovic

I am a clinical social worker (LCSW) with several years of experience, who prefers to approach clients' identified issues in a supportive and holistic way. I found using an eclectic (theoretical) approach helps to meet my clients' individual needs in treatment. I am an active participant in the therapeutic process and relate easily to clients from diverse backgrounds. I draw upon my extensive experience to ask the kinds of questions which help clients to quickly identify the basic issues that underlie their emotional problems. I use a strengths-based approach, and draw from Psychodynamic, Feminist, and Existential psychotherapy approaches, although never limit myself to these. My work is always trauma-informed. My goal as a therapist is to help each client relate to themselves and their personal goals in ways that lead to happier and more fulfilling lives.
