About Kim Richardson Lindley

My training in the Psychodynamic, Depth and Humanistic traditions along with current emerging neuroscience and how it relates to trauma, attachment and the body’s stress response have led me to a respectful client centered approach whereby each treatment plan is tailored appropriately to the unique needs of each client. With experience in Residential Inpatient, Intensive Outpatient and private practice, I view my work as a collaboration with the client that honors the person and their process working towards healthy relationships – with Self, others and their environment.  My style has been described as calm, insightful and reflective. Areas of focus include EMDR, which has been deeply rewarding work for clients seeking support with trauma and addiction, and neuroscience based strategies aimed at regulating the nervous system to deal with the presence of anxiety and depression.

I work with teens and adults, and have experience with the unique challenges faced by clients who work in the motion picture industry.
