About Susan Carter
I believe that with individual willingness and professional guidance, it is possible for everyone to lead a fulfilling life.
Since my graduation from the University of Michigan in 1987, my social work career has led me to work with a large range of people from young children to those who are nearing the end of their lives. I use an eclectic counseling approach to help individuals discover areas in their lives in which change can occur. These areas may include relationships, employment, or emotional issues.
I am trained in neuro-feedback, also known as EEG-Biofeedback. Neuro-feedback helps to retrain the brain to function at its optimal level. It is helpful for those who want to manage issues related to anger, depression, anxiety, migraine headaches, or other aspects of life that can weigh one down.
I have experience in working with individuals of all ages, as well as couples. I am located in downtown Brighton and my office is handicapped accessible. I also participate with several insurance companies.
