About Christy McCornack

Taking the first step toward asking for help is difficult and often scary. I know what it feels like to be the client. This is my strongest asset as a therapist. I will meet you with great curiosity about who you are and who you want to be and will support your process as your own individual journey. I will challenge you to take risks and be vulnerable, which I believe is the vehicle toward change.  It is a great honor to be invited into such a deeply personal process and it will always be met with the utmost respect.  I specialize in helping people explore their internal process and how this has been impacting their personal, emotional, and professional life in order to help live a more value directed life.  I have extensive experience working with mood disorders, sexuality issues, HIV/AIDS, eating disorders, and working with first responders (such as police, fire, EMS, and military personnel).
