About Kim Hughes

I am accepting new clients! Due to COVID-19, I am offering telephone sessions at this time.

Are you battling with depression, low self-esteem, or challenging life situations? Are you in the LGBTQ community and struggling with relationships, family issues, or the coming out process? There are times that we all need support, direction, and someone to walk along side us. I can help you learn to not fear your unwanted emotions and instead to face them, and the situations in your life, head on. It takes an incredible amount of courage to reach out for help. Contact me today and let's work together to fully understand where your pain is coming from.

I specialize in working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and the unique issues that we face on our journey. I use a holistic approach in my work with individuals; including mindfulness and relaxation techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and a strengths-based approach.

In order to accommodate various schedules, I have availability during business hours, evenings, and on the weekends. I now accept Medicaid for individuals who are covered under Colorado Access. I offer a generous sliding scale and we can discuss a fee that fits your budget.
