I have been in the field of developmental psychology and psychopathology for 20 years. I became licensed as a clinical psychologist in 2001. My clinical focus was pediatric neuropsychology and research focus, trauma and PTSD. The trauma/PTSD interest began with combat veterans and shifted toward child abuse and neglect, and my focus as a forensic psychologist has continued to be child maltreatment. However, my practice also involves working with individuals who need someone they can talk to. I am a provider for Give an Hour, a group that offers one hour of counseling, coaching, or therapy to active military, veterans, and their families, free of charge, out of our week. We have no connection to the VA or DOD. I also have worked with girls and women, and men, who have been subjected to sexual violence and abuse. Call me to set up an appointment.
I am a veteran.
