About Carol O'Saben
To everyone else you look like you’ve got it all. But on the inside you feel like a failure. And you don’t understand why. You’ve tried to make changes, but you keep ending up in the same unsatisfying relationships, repeating the same unhelpful behaviors and feeling more and more alone. To outsiders, it looks like you are accomplishing everything you are supposed to at this point in your life. Yet you are miserably unhappy, at school, at work, in relationships, and you are worried it will never get better. And when you try to talk about your pain your feelings no one seems to get it. I do.
You want to understand the influences and patterns that have led you to where you are so you can make lasting changes that will make a difference in how you feel about yourself and how you interact with others. Let's talk. I am direct, honest and compassionate. I can help.
We will create a therapeutic relationship where you can be yourself, build on strengths, explore vulnerabilities, and grow from challenges. I provide the convenience and privacy of online psychotherapy, with evening and weekend hours available to work around your busy schedule. Take a look at my website. Get in touch.
I grew up in the Midwest but have moved around the country for various opportunities. I am currently living in Flagstaff, Arizona with my spouse and our four-legged companions. My favorite pastime is exploring new places, whether that is through hiking, visiting our beautiful national parks, checking out quirky museums or taking fun road trips. I am lucky to crew for a hot air balloon team out of Albuquerque and many weekends find me up before dawn to help launch and chase our pilot in the balloon.
I have a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. I have been a licensed psychologist in a number of states since 1995 but am currently licensed in Arizona.
