About Ray McKinnis
My goal as a counselor will always be to help you change. Other counselors can help you work through problems, discuss issues, gain personal insight or process feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Try me if you want to change something in your life. Every session I will begin by asking you 'What do you want to change about yourself today?' I have found that Transaction Analysis, Redecision Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy are 3 powerful counseling techniques to make permanent changes in ones life.
Therefore I am especially interested issues involving religion and spirituality (as understood by the second step in the 12 steps of AA) [We] 'Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity'. I am committed to helping those who have been through the hell of addiction and are committed to doing whatever they need to do to make use of all that a rich and full life has to offer them.
