About Dr Jane Major
Struggling to cope with feelings and relationships is fairly common and, sadly, not talked about enough. Many of us will be affected by considerable difficulties managing these at different stages of our lives.
I work compassionately and with empathy. I hope that together we can develop a relationship within which you feel safe enough to talk to me about your context and what you may be struggling with. I think it is helpful to understand your strengths as well as your difficulties. I work with individuals and couples to develop a safe space where feelings and needs can be expressed and understood.
I have specialised in working with relationship issues and undertook specialist training at Tavistock Relationships and the Institute of Family Therapy. I think that the relationships we have fundamentally affect how we feel about ourselves, relate to others and learn how to process our feelings.
I offer therapy online via Zoom which is easy to use and secure. This way of working offers flexibility and accessibility and is as effective as face-to-face therapy.
Online therapy is also known as "e-counselling", "telehealth", "video therapy" and "Skype therapy". This type of accessibility can be particularly helpful for people with busy work schedules, mobility issues, and/or with child care and family responsibilities. To book your initial online consultation please follow the link here: https://drjanemajorbookingpage.acuityscheduling.com/ Alternatively, you can email me at [email protected]
