About Marilyn Sulzbacker

THRIVE is to not merely survive in your relationships, your work, your school and in your sense of well being.  This has been my approach in the more than 35 years that I have been in clinical practice.  I also conduct workshops and am a faculty advisor for graduate students.  Together we take a journey to explore your inner and outer reality in a nonjudgmental atmosphere to build trust, tolerance, and curiosity. The way that I work encourages you to feel “you get me” and helps you to unburden and become “unstuck” so you can truly feel free and be in your authentic self.  The techniques that I use are supported by current neuropsychiatric research.  These include but are not limited to EMDR(eye movement desensitization reprocessing), AEDP (accelerated emotional dynamic psychotherapy), psychomotor psychotherapy/somatic experiencing), and internal family systems. I love my work and feel fortunate to share in the transformations that occur.
