About Harry Greenberg

Everyone who pursues counseling does so for different reasons.

Sometimes a traumatic event (either unforeseen or expected) galvanizes a person to see solace and guidance from a helping professional.

Other times, family gatherings, the time of year  or other factors which are not always apparent, persuade a client to seek greater understanding.

However it is often  the case that additional or hidden goals reveal themselves as the counseling relationship deepens and grows.

It is a courageous act to seek counseling because it can be emotionally challenging to look at one's life and be willing to engage in exploration,  to make it better - so I commend you for your willingness and fortitude in beginning this journey. Of course there are significant payoffs as well:

  • Greater overall satisfaction with your life direction

  • A greater sense of discovering your own inward power to act for the benefit of yourself and others

  • A realization that you have more control of your personal destiny then you might have imagined

Now at this point in time, you are probably having an internal conversation..that goes something like this:

"Ok pick up the phone and contact him. Nah..it's not time. I really can't imagine what this will entail so it's easier to just skip it. No! That's what I always do and I really am serious about wanting things to change. In fact, I wouldn't be on this site, unless  I really wanted to being this process. Oh..but it's just so diffcult getting started..."

Relax. Most people go through this identical process. But truly, I am only a phone call away and you are only committing to a phone call at this point-that could be the starting point of a personal transition to the life you want...So let your inner needs drive this one-
