About David Klein
Although listening is vital, I'm not the kind of therapist who just sits back and silently nods the whole time, whether that is when we are in my office or on video with one another. I engage with clients to understand their lives better. Relationships exist in all our lives — whether they be love, work, friends, or family — but too often you could feel you are not getting what you want out of them. You might blame yourself. You feel like the common denominator, and that makes things feel worse inside. But among all of our relationships, the most important is the one we have with ourselves.
We all struggle. Everyone has a unique pain. What we can do is get to those pain places to understand ourselves and our story. In that healing process, we become more secure. We end up knowing when a relationship is working, because we will know what satisfaction truly feels like.
As a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC), I believe that when meeting clients where they are, both literally and figuratively, it is vital to also do so in a legal and ethical way. I am transparent about the working process and value highly online safety and security. I am committed to exploring everything in my power to make the experience as beneficial for each client, just much more convenient.
If you want help in relationship issues, anxiety or self esteem, I want to help you. I work with individuals and couples, face-to-face and online. Either way, I want you to connect more deeply with yourself and those around you (while learning who those people are that you want that with!) I hope to hear from you.
