Relying upon nearly 15 years of professional experience, I’ve treated a wide-range of consumers (children, adolescents, and adults) and populations (e.g., Veterans).
My approach is eclectic and includes training in EMDR, cognitive therapies (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT), mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Humanistic/Existentialist/Gestalt. I also specialize in care management and system navigation by problem-solving common logistical challenges related to accessing and maintaining optimal health and wellness.
I believe that non-judgmental listening, normalizing, and inspiring hope, along with the use of evidence-based practices helps build rapport and facilitates behavior change.
