About Dan Balassone
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned my Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University. I have experience treating individuals of all ages with a wide range of presenting issues.
I entered social work after successfully running an entertainment company which handled the booking, management, and publicity for national and internationally touring artists for over a decade. I loved many aspects of the business world, but realized that I loved working with people more. I now combine my business experience with my counseling skills to help working professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives manage the stressors that come with work/life balance.
I work with adults on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, life transition, career coaching, relationship issues, and more.
I also work counseling students in a school setting and have experience working with children with disabilities, counseling at risk youth, and working with children and their families through times of bereavement and loss. I can help adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, depression, academic issues, behavior problems, etc.
In my free time, I love reading, playing golf and the guitar, and spending time with my wife and two sons.
