About Alison deLassus

I am passionate about helping young adults create more authenticity, meaning, and fulfillment in their lives. I offer individual therapy and counseling to support people with a variety of concerns, particularly depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), relationships, and difficult emotions and life transitions. I have always been fascinated by human resilience, and see this strength in each and every person I work with, even when they don’t see it in themselves. We all need support sometimes; that is the human in us! I believe it is my job as a therapist to help uncover the innate wisdom within you, as well as provide you with information and tools, so you can move forward and create the life you want to live. During this process I provide unconditional positive regard, genuine respect and compassion, and unwavering support. ​ I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado. I received my Master's degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO. I have worked in community mental health, residential facilities, and schools, which has given me the enriching experience of working with people from all walks of life. I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT) and certified Yoga Nidra teacher through Yoga Alliance. I enjoy bringing elements of yoga (meditation, mindfulness) into therapy as the mind, body, and spirit are all deeply interconnected and shape our human experiences.​ My ultimate goal as your therapist is to empower you to feel more at peace with the ebbs and flows of life; to gain a sense of steadiness in the mind so you can step into your future with more control, confidence, and ease. I understand that life gets busy (work, school, relationships, family, obligations, etc) and that not everyone has easy access to a mental health clinic or yoga studio, so I offer all of my services via telethealth (secure online platform). Because of this, I can offer therapy and counseling services to anyone residing in Colorado. Additionally, I can provide yoga services to anyone around the world. For many people, it is simply more convenient to be able to access therapy and yoga online. My goal is to honor your individual needs and make it easier for you to prioritize your wellness. When I'm not doing therapy or yoga, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and dancing like nobody's watching to my favorite music (all kinds, but mostly classic rock!).
