About Linda DuToit
Linda is a compassionate, results-oriented, licensed counselor. She has been helping clients since 2010 with many aspects of mental health and relationship issues. Linda began counseling in a domestic violence agency, where she helped clients overcome their adversities and begin to build the life they truly wanted. This experience has become the foundation from which she passionately works to help all clients who want their lives to be different. She later worked at two outpatient mental health practices where she walked with clients through their tough times and helped those who were experiencing various mental health concerns.
Linda has been in private practice since 2017 in Sterling, VA. She incorporates online counseling as well as face-to-face counseling in her practice. Both online and in-person, Linda works to help clients achieve the changes they desire.
Linda uses her education as a mental health counselor, her experience, and on-going training to help clients transform their lives. Linda has successfully helped clients to manage and/or overcome anxiety, depression, and other mental health diagnoses. She works collaboratively with client to accelerate recovery from abuse, recovery from toxic relationships, improvement in relationships, pursuit of life goals, and overall improvement of life circumstances.
Linda is positioning herself to become an expert concerning self-esteem issues. She works with clients towards healthy self-esteem by improving self-acceptance, self-compassion, self-care, self-image, and self-love. Linda has helped clients to overcome self-criticism by examining and challenging the roots of this attitude towards oneself.
