Pamela Quekemeyer, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Alcohol Drug Certified Counselor, and an EMDR clinician. I have a Master of Education in Counseling from Auburn University. My specialty focuses include emotional disturbances, trauma, chronic pain, biomedical conditions, substance abuse, and process addictions. I have professional experience working in various community agency settings and hospitals at the counselor and administrative levels. I have over 10 years experience working in addiction. I utilize EMDR to help clients heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques in the treatment of chronic pain issues. I have also trained at the Beck Institute. I have the ability to interface with a range of individuals, to include healthcare and other business professionals. I value the importance of diversity, individual differences, self-identity, and multicultural competency.
