About Sarah Short

Sarah is a Clinical Psychotherapist who commenced private practice in 2013. In this time she has worked as a Therapeutic Clinical Manager , Alcohol and other Drugs Counsellor, Forensic Counsellor, Mental Health Clinician, mainly working with CALD clients. Most recently Sarah completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling. Sarah completed her Bachelors Social Science (Counselling) in 2012 and Is currently registered with Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Australian and New Zealand Counselling Association (AANZCA) and Mental Health Academy (MHA). Sarah had also completed Diplomas in Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD), Mental Health (MH), Case Management and Leadership and Management. Sarah uses cognitive behaviour therapy(CBT), mindfulness, solution focus and person centred modalities in her treatment. Sarah specialises in working in the following areas. 1.
