About Maddie Lukens
I understand life is challenging and we feel broken at times. One thing I am passionate about is helping people not only feel whole again, but to also live the life they were meant to live. Life brings hardship, heartache, transition, and some deep joys our way. At times we just need more support to get to the next step in life, or even get through the day - I am here for you. I attended Eastern University in St. David's, PA & graduated in 2018. Then I spent 11 months overseas serving rural communities and churches - teaching English & partnering with local ministries and organizations. When I'm not working, I love to be outside, drink coffee & travel.
I have experience working with children, families, and young adults. Some of my areas of interest are: grief, life transition, coping skills, and foster & adoptive care. I am looking forward to working with you & learning alongside you. Please note: I am a pre-licensed professional counselor - all my work is supervised by Katie Bailey, L.P.C., M.A. I am currently working towards the hours I need to obtain my license in professional counseling in the state of Pennsylvania.
