About Adam Stanford

I accept Cigna, United, Optum, Anthem, Aetna, and Bright Health Plan. I have been practicing clinically from the Denver area since October 2014. I am gender affirming, sex positive, and supportive of all orientations, lifestyles, and relationship situations. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to help you process your thoughts and emotions, identify how you can better implement your highest values in your life, and learn how to develop healthier thinking patterns and behaviors to improve your mood and relationships. Together we will write specific goals and come up with measurable objectives to help track your progress. My evidence based approach to effective treatment has three key components: Processing- I can guide you through organizing and understanding your thoughts, memories, and emotions in new ways that help create insight and meaning. Learning- I can teach you new mental and behavioral coping skills that are proven to help. Integrating- I can help you understand how to create new habits based on new skills and insight.
