About Ayana Mbonu
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over five years of experience. I have worked with individuals presenting with a wide range of concerns. I have worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues; in private and employee assistance settings.
My counseling philosophy is that you are the expert of your own life. My approach incorporates different therapeutic techniques to make sure that your specific concern is addressed. Our work together will always be person-centered and strength-based because I genuinely believe that you have what it takes to succeed. My role is to guide and support you in building the skills and confidence necessary to live your best life. I meet each client where you are and build on your strengths and resources. I will always be empathetic and patient and put you first. As your therapist, I can aid in identifying those things, that are getting in the way of you reaching your goals. Together, we can undo false belief systems and unhealthy habits. Seeking therapy is the first step in that process.
I look forward to working together!
Please note that I work in a practice that does not take health insurance. We do accept out of network coverage however.
