Hi, my name is Jen Makin and I specialize in treating trauma and high risk situations. Addiction, suicidal tendencies, self-harm, sexual trauma, and abuse are my specialties. I am trained in Crisis Management, addiction recovery, various trauma interventions and family systems. My practice focuses heavily on re-establishing boundaries within relationships that have broken down due to some kind of trauma. I have 15 years of experience working within the field of mental health and addiction. I offer counseling services in a safe, comfortable environment. It is my hope to bring more peace and healing to my clients and their families. I specialize in treating youth ages 8+ and adults 18+. I work with individuals, families and couples attempting to manage conflict and stress due to addiction,trauma, betrayal or discord. I offer individual counseling services in a safe, comfortable environment. Throughout treatment, I implement powerful tools of healing that lead to lasting results. I understand the pain that addiction, mental health disorders and trauma may cause. I am committed to create the best counseling experience for my clients and their families.
