About Jason VanRuler

Jason VanRuler, LPC-MH, QMHP, LMHC, CSAT-S has been treating clients since 2013. He is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Supervisor (CSAT-S) as well as a speaker and consultant to several businesses and churches across the country on issues such as program development, sexuality, intimacy, relationships, and sexual trauma. Jason's counseling career began with the Avera Behavioral Health Assessment team where he conducted intake assessments for individuals seeking psychiatric care. Since then, he has founded Solomon Recovery as well as co-founded Resolution Treatment Services; a clinical practice focused on providing forensic evaluations and outpatient treatment with offices in South Dakota and Iowa. In 2018, Jason was asked to join the esteemed team at Bethesda Workshops in Nashville, TN where he works as a Clinical Staff member and group leader. Prior to working as a counselor, Jason gained extensive business and consulting experience owning and managing companies in the staffing and recruiting industries. In addition to his general practice for individuals and couples where Jason treats concerns like anxiety, depression, and OCD he also specializes in treating sexual behavior that is inconsistent with a client's values or damaging to their relationships. Jason has helped many individuals and couples heal from infidelity, betrayal, compulsive use of pornography and other kinds of high-risk or secretive sexual behavior.
