About Kimberly Thomas

I am a Registered Psychologist with a Masters of Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. I have a passion for working with adults to address: trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, emotion regulation, relationship challenges, life transitions, and grief/loss. I use multiple modalities of therapy including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sensorimotor Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My approach is relationship focused to offer you safe and supported treatment involving genuineness, empathy, warmth, humor, and acceptance. I see my role as therapist is to walk beside you, helping to clear a path for you to discover your needs and goals. We will work together to nurture your inner wisdom and skills, while also building new ways to cope. I believe you are survivor, and that thriving beyond surviving is possible. A wonderful feature of my practice Stable Grounding Psychology, is convenient online booking.
