About Auburn Meisner

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and AASECT certified sex therapist (CST). I specialize in sex therapy for individuals, couples, and families at Intimate Inquiries, INC. I enjoy helping my clients navigate difficult topics, especially related to sex and intimacy. I help my clients discuss complex issues with more ease and confidence. I aim to create space and opportunities for families and couples to have more open, honest conversations regarding sex, love, gender and health. My approach is strength-based and rooted in empathy, humor, and flexibility to cater to each individuals specific needs. It is my privilege to work with people who have the courage to show up, be vulnerable, and commit to their health and happiness. With some hard work and creativity from both you and myself, I believe that together we can create lasting positive change in your relationships, yourself, and your unique sexual identity. Intimate Inquiries can help you cultivate, enhance and nurture love, communication, and connectivity with yourself and others. Through illuminating unhelpful patterns with awareness and gently challenging them with new tools, therapy can help you live a more satisfying and intentional life. Through building connection, acceptance, and appreciation for yourself and others, therapy can also help you develop more balanced and satisfying relationships. Intimate Inquiries specificaly focuses on relationship and sex therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Sex and Relationship therapy can encompass many issues that range from body image, sexual functioning, intimacy and pleasure, communication, trauma, stress, and health. Many times sexual issues are the presenting issue that a person, couple or family bring into therapy, but we work on much more under the surface as well. Issues can include identity, confidence, loneliness, communication, adjusting to major life changes, depression or anxiety, mental health imbalances, disability, infertility, being new parents, infidelity and much more.
