I am trained in both Individual and Couples Counselling but I chose to specialise in Couples Counselling 20 years ago I run training courses in Couples Therapy for other Therapists. I am also an Accredited Supervisor with 12 years experience. I work mainly with the Bader/Pearson Developmental Model of Couples Therapy because after training in several Couple Therapy Models this is the Model that, in my long experience, really works and it integrates well with other other models like the the Relate UK Model of Couples Therapy, The Gottoman Model and the EFT Model. I am passionate about helping couples work through their issues and I thoroughly believe in the power of Couples Therapy, especially if you choose a specialist in this challenging and complex field of work. Ask yourself 'If I had a heart condition would I rather see a GP or a Heart specialist'. It is the same difference when choosing a Couple's Therapist who specialises! I also offer Discernment Counselling for Couples who are on the brink of Divorce. If the couple chooses to Divorce or Separate then I offer services that will help each manage that transition with insight, compassion and give expert guidance on how to best parent their children during and after Separation/Divorce.
