About Sarah Leclerc
I am feminist psychologist of Haitian descent. I have known that I wanted to be a "listener" since I was a child; I thought that therapy was a space where individuals could discuss their most painful moments because they didn't feel like they could talk about those moments in other spaces. Even as a child, I sensed that it was important for us to share our stories, feel heard and seen, and feel empathized and validated with. And so, I continue on the path to be a listener as I work in college counseling centers, in psychiatric hospitals, and in skilled nursing facilities. I can't wait to bear witness to your story and walk with you on your journey.
