Rebecca Eyre, LMHC
About Rebecca Eyre
Therapy can be a life-changing - even life-saving - experience and I'm so honored to offer that kind of care to my clients. I’m a licensed psychotherapist offering individual therapy to adults and adolescents. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 2012. My training is in relational psychodynamic therapy, which essentially means that I take particular interest in the here-and-now with my clients and also take the time to understand the entire context of their life within which the here-and-now exists. My approach is warm but direct, and I think it's important that I bring my full self to my work as a therapist, if I am asking for that level of engagement from my clients. I consider myself an intersectional feminist as well as an LGBTQ-identifying person, so I take care to bring a socially- and culturally-aware lens to my work with people from all walks of life. I’m originally from Seattle but I currently live in New York City with my dog, Mirabel.
