About Adam Moore
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California who has been working in the field of psychology since 2013 in a variety of areas to help people throughout many different demographics. I have worked with troubled youth with a range of disorders in a day treatment program, veterans recently out of homelessness and battling addiction, adults on Medicare with serious psychological disorders, foster youth living in residential group homes, in the school system as an ERMHS therapist to students, both outpatient psychiatry and behavioral health urgent care for children and adolescents at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego, and now with my own private practice as well. I have experience with and am currently taking on clientele of adults, adolescents, and children looking for individual, couples, or family therapy sessions. I use evidence based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT and it's DBT spin-off, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapy to help those suffering from symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, addiction, relationship issues, parenting problems, social concerns, life transitions, grief/loss, trauma, abuse, crisis situations, and general life adjustment issues. I am also trained in AIM-HI to work with children on the Autism Spectrum, especially those displaying serious behavioral problems at school and in the home.
