About Carmen F Juneidi

***UPDATE JULY 2020: I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THE MOMENT*** I am a multicultural therapist who helps teenagers and adults recover from the devastating effects of complex trauma and/or family conflict. I graduated with advanced degree (MS) in Psychology in Spain in 2004. My first experience was at a sex therapy clinic that treated all kinds of individual and relationship problems, such as lack of intimacy, infidelity, sex addiction and sexual dysfunctions. Since moving to the US, my focus has been on various forms of trauma and Complex PTSD, starting with several years working with foster youth and families in Florida. While my primary role was helping the youth, I also assisted foster and adoptive families in finding tools to better care for these vulnerable children, who often had behavioral difficulties at home and at school. In my MSW degree, I specialized in Mental Health and Migration Studies. Since graduating in 2017, I have worked primarily with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, covering a wide spectrum of ages, ethnic and socioeconomic groups, including the immigrant/refugee population. I am 40-hour ICDVP accredited as a domestic violence professional.
