About Lismerys Toledo

Hi, I am Lis and I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. Thank you for taking the time to read through my page and for considering this next step in your journey. I completed my master's degree in clinical social work & trauma-informed care from Barry University. As part of my training, I completed my clinical rotations at Regis House, Inc and at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine serving children and families with complex medical and behavioral needs. Postmasters, I completed extensive training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to serve children ages 3-18 who have experienced trauma. As well as training in infant mental health and parent-child attachment. I am also a graduate fellow of the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development's Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program, and the Emerging Transformational Leadership Program (ETLP). Both programs tailored towards building leaders in the community to address barriers to care and ensure access for all persons, regardless of exceptionalities. My desire is to eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health and eliminate the barriers to care. I achieve this by creating a highly individualized therapeutic atmosphere where the client can feel safe and comfortable. I also conduct therapy in the client's home or via telehealth when clinically appropriate
