About Denita Benyshek

I work with intellectually gifted, high achieving, creative, and artistically talented individuals who want to reduce anxiety and depression, heal trauma, strengthen relationships, increase productivity, learn positive self-care habits, make important career decisions, return to work after a career break, and resolve wounds. My adult clients are entrepreneurs creating new businesses, visionary CEOs and senior VPs, artists (writers, journalists, film makers, dancers, visual artists, designers, musicians, animators, game designers, etc.), healers (doctors, counselors, and social change makers). I am passionately committed to helping you: reduce stress and worry, improve concentration and productivity, cope effectively with life challenges, discover happiness, enjoy fulfilling relationships, understand and transform creative block, achieve goals, establish healthy boundaries, learn skills, lessen chronic pain, resolve trauma, cope with the demands of parenting chronically ill, disabled children, change self-defeating patterns, practice good self-care, and find that ever moving point of balance. My education includes: PhD psychology, MA psychology (marriage and family systems), graduate certificate in the psychology of creativity, MFA and BFA art/painting. In addition, I am trained in working with PTSD and complex trauma, primarily through EMDR (eye motion desensitization and reprocessing).
