I have a dual degree in counseling and art therapy Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM. I believe healing is a creative process. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am one of the few registered art therapists in Georgia, and am also certified by the International Association of Trauma Professionals to treat complex trauma such as attachment trauma issues, dissociative disorders, and PTSD. I have experience directing programs at a residential and intensive outpatient treatment center providing holistic individualized treatment, for attachment trauma/issues, mood disorders, depression/anxiety, and eating disorders, working with adults and adolescents. I use a combination of clinically sound, insight-oriented processes that incorporate psychodynamic psychotherapy, and also body-based approaches such as art therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing. My clients are sensitive, resilient, creative people who find themselves feeling stuck, tired, hurt, or struggling. I help them get relief from symptoms and process the underlying issues so they can reconnect with themselves and others as they shift old patterns to live more freely in the present.
